We are endlessly grateful to everyone who was involved in Global Mala NJ 2010 event and look forward to a “rockin’” 2011 event on Sunday, September 18th. Here are some photos that truly only capture a part of our amazing day together.

What an honor  for Global Mala NJ to have the continued support of Mayor Cory Booker.  He recognizes the importance of peace.  His words and actions are an endless inspiration to all.  He closed his keynote thoughts as gracious as ever: “Today, I am grateful for you being here in the heart of our city. I wish you the best in your journey.”

Global Mala NJ raised more than $15,000 in proceeds that went to some important National Organizations like Haiti and International Rescue Committee, Saving Sea Turtles in the Gulf.  Our NJ and Newark based recipients included:
